Wicked

Yes I'm still here twos maybe threes of readers. E is back in school, all day, as a 1st grader allowing me a huge expanse of time with only H during the day. So far we've gone on a walk nearly every day. It's wonderful to have some one on one time with H.

Those of you who follow me on Ravelry know I'm knitting dishcloths and little mini alien toys and lots of small items. I'm making slow but steady progress on my holiday knitting.

Wicked by Zephyr Style
Size 36-39inches
Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Ultrasoft in Velvet Orchid
size 6 for the neckline size 7 for the rest

I decided to do one last summer cotton sweater to round out the Spring/Summer sweater knitting/wearing season. I loved Green Gable so much I had to knit up another Zephyr Style sweater and decided on Wicked.

We were in downtown Hudson recently and had to check out Miss Chickpea's Funky Fibers. Lovely shop, beautiful yarn. Nothing called to me so I did not buy anything. It can be done.

I have a slightly super secret project on the needles. It's fun.

Knitters Connection

<span class=

Cortney recently altered me in comments to the upcoming Knitters Connection event hosted by my LYS of choice Knitter's Mercantile.

Lime & Violet
talked about Knitters Connection in a recent podcast. They will be podcasting from the event.

I must sheepishly, get it sheepishly, admit that I have not been listening to either Lime & Violet or Cast On recently. Both are on my 'to listen' list while Dave and I work out in the evening.

Anyway Knitters Connection sounds like something I would like to check out this summer.

LYS Trip Tomorrow

My sister and I have a PEO meeting tomorrow morning. My LYS of choice Knitter's Mercantile is not too far from the meeting location. Allie has agreed to a short trip to the LYS so I can buy some needles for the Felted Clogs and the Hedgehog.

I nearly forgot to blog about another fun, recent mail arrival. I ordered the Noni Majolica Bag Vases Full of Flowers pattern from SuperCrafty. As promised the pattern went out in the mail within 24 hours of the order. I think it's fabulous that Allison is able to have her online store and be home with her sweet little Evan.

I am off to carefully prepare my list for the LYS. I MUST have a list to reign me in or I will go NUTS!
