The Cancer Sucks Hat is finished. It will join Jon Bon Hedgie in a box so they can journey north to live with Tracy. Many thanks to Bamalas for a great tribute to her Uncle.
The duplicate stitch was not that difficult once I googled it and finally sat down to do it. It's really hard to see. The yarns really do not contrast enough. But the hat was made with love and should cover Tracy's head well regardless.
I've nearly the Log Cabin blanket for the Cyrano's Creature Comfort's drive. Again, it's not the prettiest thing ever but I used up some stash and learned a new technique.
Now it's a matter of getting out to the post office, or the PO as my sister likes to call the post office.
So Crumpets only lacks laces and shoulder straps, possibly some elastic depending on how it fits. The Log Cabin needs the ends tucked in, the Cancer Sucks hat is finished, and the Princess Hat is making steady progress.
