On the Needles...Jaywalkers

I cast on my first Jaywalker tonight. I'm knitting in Lorna's Laces Shepherd's Sock in Safari on size 1 metal dps. These are the smallest needles I've worked with to date. The yarn is thin and smooth. It's so much fun to see the colors move and change as you knit.

My first pair of handknit socks turned out ok, but not great. They were in Lion Brand Magic Stripe and I just followed the pattern on the sleeve. They were on size 3 bamboo dps. I did not like the wood dps.

I'm hoping to join the already huge Jaywalker KAL over at January One.
