Welcome from Memphis, TN. I'm in town for the Beal St Jazz Festival with friends, sans D and E. Having a great time, enjoying the music. Will hopefully get to knit a bit at the festival later this afternoon on a blanket beside the Mississippi River. I have some Sock Memories and Wool of the Andes to make a Nantastket. Very excited.

Oh, I finished knitting Kiri on the drive down. I'm really excited to block it when I get home. It's my first FO in over a month.

Ooooh, Music Fest! Have fun (and by that I mean, "I hope you don't get rained on, blown away by tornadoes, or scorched by the sun"--all 3 are possible this tme of year)! My sister is there right now (we're all from Memphis). I got to go last year and saw Billy Idol rock the house--what a hoot! :)
