Shot Through The Heart And You're To Blame You Give Hedgehogs A Bad Name

The Readers have spoken. I concede that the purple Hedgehog formerly known as Third Times the Charm Hedgie will now be forever known as Jon Bon Hedgie. Considering Hedgie is going to Tracy who happens to like 80's rock and the occasional power ballad. Jon Bon Hedgie is a good choice. That and Jon Bon Jovi is pretty cool.

Just for fun E decided to dress up like a 'movie star' this morning so here is a pic of her with Jon Bon Hedgie. Rock Out!

Tajza suggested in comments that Hedgie looked like David Bowie during the Ziggy Stardust era. Good call! I don't know if this is technically considered during the Ziggy Stardust era or not but Bowie looked mighty Hedgielike in Labyrinth.

I'm nearly finished with Tracy's Cancer Sucks Hat. All that remains is to duplicate stitch Cancer Sucks on the hat. Then the purple pair of cancer fighting goodness will be ready to mail.

I think I may have a Hedgehog population problem here. The Hedgies and I may have to have a little talk about self control. Yes I finished a fourth just this morning.

OSU Hedgie

Pattern: Huggable Hedgehog
Designer: Debbie Radtke
Size: Just Right for An OSU Fan
Yarn: Knit Pick's Wool of the Andes in Fog and Red, Knit Picks Butterfly Kisses in Red.
Needles: 10.5, 24 inch circs
Started February 27, 2007
Finished March 2, 2007

I'm almost ashamed to admit I cast on a fifth Hedgie last night while OSU Hedgie was felting in the washing machine. This one is for Henry. It's in Knit Picks Sierra which is bulky weight. I'm still knitting on size 10.5 circs so it is really dense and squishy. I'm really enjoying the Sierra.

Jon Bon Hedgie is perfect!
David Bowie's Goblin King is not during the Ziggy phase, but is definitely quite hedgie! That really cracks me up!

I see you are a Pisces, so you must be having a birthday sometime soon - Happy Birthday!

Speaking of David Bowie - I was watching "The Prestige" tonight, and Bowie plays Nikola Tesla. Wow, I could hardly tell it was Bowie. He's aged... But haven't we all??

Okay, I think you're convincing me to knit a Hedgie. They are just too cute! I don't think they'll be able to make my short list of to-dos, but definitely sometime this year. Sweet!

That hedgehog is adorable. I think I must knit myself one.
