Another Sonic Screwdriver

Knitted up my fourth Sonic Screwdriver today. This one is for a child so I wanted it a bit more dense, so I went down a needle size to a size 2.

The knitting is long complete on the Weighted Companion Cube. Now it's time for a light hand felting/blocking then it will be time to steek. There are six cube faces all knitted in a tube.

I no longer feel all Eek to Steek!

I'm making progress on the Earth Day 2008 Recycled Bag Bag. Nearly completed an entire quarter panel today. Need to cut more bag strips for the final panel.

In Knitting News

Looking at my recent FO's I've been on a bit of a Geek Knitting Streak. A Dalek, four sonic screwdrivers, a Portal Companion Cube. I have a K-9 in the works, it's just incredibly slow going. I think I'm ready for some holiday knitting, maybe sweaters for D and H. I really want to finish up Crumpets for E and knit up a Weasley Sweater for H. I'm still determined to clear out my WIP's before starting another big project. Ok I cheated a bit doing today's sonic screwdriver, but it was small, used stash yarn and is for a bud.

In Everyday Life News

E and I watched Enchanted, twice today. The Easter Bunny gave it to her in her basket. I had my doubts but it turned out to be a delightful little movie. The music was fun, the actors actually sang, which I see as a good thing. E LOVED the movie pretty much from beginning to end.

We did not get to watch Torchwood last week so we had a double feature tonight. The second season is so good. Time to go over to Ravelry to read up on the episodes we watched tonight.

I can't wait to see the FO of the cube. You're a braver woman that I am, steeking.
