I am so excited to be finished with my socks. This was a great project for me. My last Olympic project was Shedir for Tracy. Shedir was a great project, I really pushed myself to improve my cabling. I splurged on some very yummy Rowan Calmer. I love that hat, but not as much as I love Tracy.

The socks were doable, they pushed me just enough, they also expanded my skillset. I learned to Kitchener stitch, finally. After watching the following video several times and then revisiting the Knitty directions it finally clicked. I love the Crazy4Dyeing hand dyed sock yarn. It was a dream to knit and feels so nice on my feet.




Sometimes you just have to see someone demonstrate a skill. Words and static pictures just don't provide enough input. It's also nice to be able to fumble along at your own pace in the privacy of your own home.
