Wow

Just finished watching Phelps win his 8th gold medal.

Amazing.

We went to King's Island and IKEA today. Sat in the water at KI, rode only a few rides, the park was packed and the lines long. We had beautiful weather.

I think I officially have IKEA out of my system.

In knitting news I started a new pair of socks last night. I'm using some Claudia Handpainted fingering weight in Jungle that I tried to use for a Hedgie. Duh it's superwash. No Hedgie love. I started with Vo Gon, but it was too busy. So I frogged this morning and started an ankle sock using the Yarn Harlot's basic sock recipe. Got to knit in the car on the way to KI. The basic pattern is allowing the yarn to shine.
