The Felted Sheldon Bowl

Pre felting floppy goodness.

Pattern: If Sheldon and Nantasket Got It On
Designer: Me
Size: Just Right to Block on a Small Coffee Can
Yarn: Knit Pick's Wool of the Andes in Hyacinth and Knit Picks Bare dyed with Koolaid/Food Coloring.
Needles: size 10.5 dpns and size 10 circs
Started April 15, 2007
Finished April 17, 2007

I combined the cell pattern and applied i-cord construction from Sheldon with the applied i-cord top band and base pattern from Nantasket to create this basket. I knitted a separate tube and base then i-corded them together. I'm quite happy with the end result.

Hey Karen - You are a fast knitter! Thanks for the comments - I'm not walking, my mom isn't coming up & I guess it's just not that important to me - I love the bowl!

Wow - this looks really fantastic - so very unique and beautiful! Seeing these pics certainly inspired me to try my hands at felting too, finally! Great work indeed!

Wow, that bowl is awesome.

Why is it that you're always knitting something right before me? I just had a guy at work inform me that he needed a knitted candy dish for his desk.
