I have my first FO of 2009. The first of two pink Jaywalker socks reached FO status this afternoon while H was napping.
Last Sunday morning I decided that I wanted to get a pair of Addi Turbo circs. I've been considering getting a pair for ages now. Well I started a trek to buy a pair locally Sunday afternoon and was shot down repeatedly by multiple LYS's. I'm not going into the gory details.
My search ended this morning with a trip to The Yarn Market in nearby Pickerington. I'd talked with Stephanie the day before and she was holding a pair for me. I slogged the kids through sleet to get these needles.
The needles are so worth the slog in the frozen rain. Oh my goodness they are so smooth and buttery and amazing. I bought a set of 40 inch size ones to do the second Jaywalker with Magic Loop. Oh how I love these needles. Oh how good they feel. They are so smooth.
So far so good on the magic loop. I'm not 100% sure of how I'm going to do the heel on a circ, can always put inactive stitches on a holder or something, but I am loving the magic loop on these needles.

Oh....Addi turbo's....I bought a circ from The Yarn Market and LOVE it. I'm using it on my shawl even though it's too short just cuz I LOVE it!
Aren't Addi's the best? I love mine - especially for socks! I am also doing my socks magic loop - never done them any other way, honestly. If you need help I can email you the heel flap instructions that I have.
