Shameless Non Self Promotion

In knitting news I'm working on another Hedgehog. I've tossed the stash and found yarn for two more Hedgie projects a Mini Hedgie and a Micro Hedgie. More info to come. Ok knitting content is out of the way.

Behold fives of readers it is Shameless Non Self Promotion Time here on In Knitting News.

If you find yourself in the NYC area April 1-19 around the Abrons Art Center check out Beowulf A Thousand Years of Baggage. There is a New York Times write up about the show you can check out. Dave and I knew the composer Dave Malloy back at LHS.

It's so cool to see someone you remember as a bit awkward freshman all grown up and doing avant-garde theatre. So check out Beowulf. Dave plays King Hrothgar, there is video, it's a bit out there. I did not know Dave could play the accordion. As a warning some of the lyrics and simulated stage violence might be considered NSFW.

While I'm suggesting the delights of the stage what about Journey? Styxs? Covers from the 70's and 80's? Eclipse is playing tonight at Sadie Rene's in North Canton. Dave and I are trying to figure out when we will go see them live again.

Hmm Beowulf staged as an opera of sorts and a Journey cover band, just like chocolate and peanut butter.
